Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment time. Deposits go toward the final cost of your tattoo. This protects your scheduled time and allows us to prepare for your session. 

Booking timelines vary based on artist availability and the size of your project. Some appointments may be available within days, while larger custom work may book out weeks in advance.

Yes. Custom work is a major part of what we do at The Jade Tiger. We collaborate with you to create something intentional, personal, and high-end—designed to fit your body and your vision. 

Most custom designs are shared close to your appointment date. This allows the artist to design with your final placement, sizing, and flow in mind. Small adjustments can be made during your session.

Yes, depending on the tattoo and the placement. Cover-ups require an in-person or photo consultation so we can give you realistic options and set you up for the best outcome.

Yes. Consultations may be done in-studio or virtually depending on the project. If you’re unsure about size, placement, or direction, a consultation is the best place to start.

Absolutely. The Jade Tiger maintains strict sanitation standards and uses professional-grade sterilization practices. We use single-use, disposable needles, protective barriers, and thoroughly disinfect all stations between clients.

Yes. We offer vegan inks and vegan-friendly supplies whenever possible—without compromising quality, longevity, or saturation.

Pain varies depending on placement, session length, and your personal tolerance. We’ll guide you through the process and make sure you feel comfortable from start to finish.

For the best experience:

• Get a good night’s sleep

• Eat a full meal beforehand

• Stay hydrated

• Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment

• Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the tattoo area

For a calm and focused environment, we may limit guests depending on space and the appointment type. If you’d like to bring someone, ask ahead of time and we’ll let you know what’s possible.

We understand life happens. We ask for at least 48 hours notice for reschedules whenever possible. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in the loss of your deposit.

You must be 18+ with valid ID to get tattooed at The Jade Tiger. No exceptions.

Most tattoos heal on the surface in about 2–3 weeks, but full healing can take 4–6 weeks depending on placement and skin type.

Yes. You’ll receive detailed aftercare instructions after your session. Proper aftercare is essential for keeping your tattoo crisp, clean, and healed correctly.

During healing, avoid:

• Pools, hot tubs, and soaking

• Direct sun exposure

• Heavy sweating for the first few days

• Picking, scratching, or peeling the tattoo

For safety reasons, we do not tattoo clients who are pregnant. If you are breastfeeding, we recommend speaking with your doctor first and contacting us with any questions.

Please let us know ahead of time. We can discuss your concerns and recommend the best approach, including patch-testing certain products when needed.

Touch-up policies vary depending on the artist and the tattoo. If you think your tattoo needs a touch-up after healing, contact us and we’ll guide you through the next steps.
